Veteran Actress Meena Ganesh: Malayalam film icon Meena Ganesh dies at age 81. Veteran Meena Ganesh, a Malayalam actress who starred in more than 200 films, 25 TV series, and several plays, died on Thursday at the age of 81. According to the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), the actress was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Shornur, Palakkad district, after suffering a stroke.

Meena Ganesh was married to award-winning playwright and director N N Ganesh and was the mother of Manoj Ganesh, a prominent serial director.
